Acupuncture is the insertion of needles into the skin of a patient to alter the movement of energy and blood in their system. Acupuncture has been used as a form of medicine for thousands of years and it is one of the three basic treatment modalities of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Acupuncture is used to treat many medical ailments in humans, dogs, cats, and other animals. Acupuncture has been found to effectively treat most medical ailments and to be especially helpful in managing painful conditions. It has a wide application in the treatment of health problems.
