Linda L. Faris, DVM, CVA

Dr. Linda Faris is trained in both conventional and holistic veterinary medicine. She graduated from the University Of Missouri College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 and she has owned several veterinary practices through her 30+ year veterinary career. She is a perpetual student, always seeking to learn medical techniques to help her patients heal. She received IVAS Certification to practice veterinary acupuncture in 2001, and she finished the New Mexico Basic Chinese Herbal course in 2002. Subsequently, she completed advanced herbal training in cancer therapy, treatment of neurological disorders, and geriatric medicine. She has studied advanced acupuncture at the Chi Institute and the Balance Techniques & Acupuncture Strategies of Dr. Richard Tan. Dr. Faris also took a Chinese Food Therapy Course with Dr. Bruce Furguson. She is currently enrolled in Dr. Pitcairn's Certification Course in Veterinary Homeopathy. Training in alternative therapies has given her more treatment options when a complicated case is presented to her. Dr. Faris' goal in treating every case is to cure the animal.
